Set your Table for an Unforgettable Christmas

It's the most wonderful time of the year! The holiday season is finally here and it's time to decorate your home and host your loved ones. One of the most important aspects of hosting a Christmas dinner is setting the table beautifully. Here are some tips to make your table look absolutely stunning this holiday season!

Firstly, choose a color scheme. Red, green, gold, and silver are classic Christmas colors, but don't be afraid to mix it up with some non-traditional colors like purple or blue. Once you've chosen your color scheme, select your tablecloth and then place a dinner plate at the center of each setting. Next, place a salad plate or soup bowl on top of the dinner plate. If you're serving soup, place the soup bowl on top of the salad plate.

Now, it's time to add the glassware. The water glass should be placed above the knife, to the right of the dinner plate. The wine glass should be placed to the right of the water glass. If you are serving white wine, make sure to place the U-shaped wine glass out. If serving red, place the rounder bowl shaped wine glass out and if serving champagne or our delicious Sparkling Cider, place the flute to the right of the wine glass. Having the correct glass out for each beverage will help highlight its delicate aroma and flavours.  

Don't forget to add a festive centerpiece like a bouquet of Christmas flowers or a candle arrangement.

Finally, add some lighting. Candles (flame or flameless) always add a warm and cozy atmosphere to any dining table. Choose a mix of tall and short candles to create variation in height and scatter some tea lights around the table. Other options like fairy lights or string lights also work well.
