Fairly Grilled Cheese


  • 2 French loaves
  • 1 jar Cider Keg Apple Pie in a Jar
  • 1 cup Jensen Cheese casserole cheese
  • 1 lb V.G. Meats apple-smoked bacon


Cook bacon until crispy then cut in half to make shorter pieces. Slice each French loaf diagonally into 1/2 inch slices. Lay slices on un-greased cookie sheet. Top each slice of bread with one of the short pieces of bacon, then with a tbsp of cheese. Broil the entire pan of sandwiches until cheese begins to bubble and bread has toasted slightly. Remove from oven. Let sandwiches rest for a few minutes then top with a dollop of Apple Pie in a Jar. Serve immediately on a platter.
