3 cups Granulated sugar
3 cups water
2 tbsp. of grated orange rind
1 tbsp. grated lemon rind
2 tbsp. critic acid
3/4 cup orange juice (store bought)
1/3 Cup lemon juice (store bought)
1 Bottle of Cider Keg Sparkling Apple Cider
In a large saucepan, combine sugar, water and grated orange and lemon rind; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and let simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat; add citric acid and juices; let cool.
Pour into a clean jar and store in the refrigerator.
When serving crush up some ice and fill a cup half way. Then pour in 1/4 cup syrup and add in 3/4 cup of Cider Keg Sparkling Apple Cider.
Stir and serve
Makes about 5 cups of syrup, enough for 18 -20 servings.
